Musical Theatre combines acting, music song and dance. The emotional content of the piece – humour, grief, love, anger – as well as the story itself, is communicated through all these mediums.

We embrace and celebrate the natural performer within each young child. Bursting with energy, imagination, and creativity, our classes provide a secure and encouraging environment where these qualities can flourish.

Students should wear anything comfortable that they can move in for the first few lessons. When they’re sure they enjoy the classes then Top Banana has a branded t-shirt that is available to buy from the school itself which should be worn with black leggings. 

Mini Musical Theatre

A lovely class perfectly suited to ages 4-6 year olds. Children explore Dance, Drama and Music in a fun and playful way.  Upbeat music, props and stories will be used to help take them on weekly adventures with their friends.

Musical Theatre

This is for age 7 and above and will be inspired by West End Musicals and current music trends.  Children will learn scripts, have fun improvising and generally build social skills, self esteem and creative thinking with a supportive group.
